Hamsters

Hamsters is a work that uses talking and moving hamster toys to reflect on how information and knowledge are spread between individuals and communities and vice versa. Each readymade hamster toy has five interactive functions: sound recording, sound manipulation, sound playback, sound level detection and movement. These five functionalities serve in the work as metaphorical contexts in which core principles of communication can emerge.
